In April we expect to have some visitors from Honduras! Leonardo, Karla and Caroline Ken will be travelling to Texas and will be spending two weeks here meeting with churches and Christians to talk about the good work and progress that has been made in Honduras with Unidos Con El Mismo Amor.

Lynette Austin and Karla Ken will be meeting to talk about a proposed program that will provide Abilene Christian University Speech Pathology students an opportunity to put their talents to work in the field. Also, Steve Ken will be working with Leonardo on a program to provide online preachers training for the program started last year that meets in the Choluteca church building.

Dentists

In Honduras, we encounter a huge number of people who have little or no dental care.

These people have many dental issues that can easily be remedied but they cannot afford the care. If you will donate one week of time to Honduras you can change the lives of hundreds.

Dental Hygienists

We encounter a huge number of people who have never been taught preventative medicine or dental care. Cleaning teeth is seldom practiced. When our clinic is open we provide teeth cleaning for no charge. People crowd in to receive dental cleaning, basic healthcare lessons, and a toothbrush.

Dental Assistants

Dental Assistants are extremely important to our mission in Honduras. Not only will the dentists who travel to Honduras need assistance, but they will also have the opportunity to see many children, where they can teach them the fundamentals of proper dental care.

Our Dental Assistants will also be asked to train Central American students to be Dental Assistants. This will involve hands on training and will proovide an invaluable resource the Dentists of Honduras and beyond.

Clinic Workers

If you don't have training in the medical or dental fields, you shouldn't feel left out! We need any interested people who would be willing to pass out clothes, toothbrushes, Bibles, etc. There will also be times to sit and share conversations with Hondurans. You can change the life of a Honduran through a conversation given in love.

There are so many needs that can be met in Honduras. Every person who desires to go will be a huge blessing. Our teams need all people, and God will use you to change the world.
